  Specialised Scientific Diver Training

6th November 2009

Scientific divers from across the country have been travelling to    Western   Australia to join the experienced team at The Underwater    Centre Fremantle, for our tailored two week scientific diving program.

Participants complete the ADAS accredited training course, Part 1 Restricted, at our Fremantle HQ and various locations across the South West of WA.

On course students learn various aspects of occupational diving including advanced scientific survey skills, rescue training, communications procedures, dive planning and risk assessments. Such training extends an individual’s underwater skills and improves their job opportunities.

This standard of training is becoming widely required by maritime industries and government bodies, for scientific diving, as it significantly improves standards of safety and the quality of work being undertaken. For the private sector and research organisations training scientific divers to this standard raises their company profile and enhances access to major contracts.

TUCF Managing Director, Mr Ian Milliner, states, “TUCF have been delivering occupational diver training in Australia and internationally for 13 years. Our clients come from all over the world to achieve high standard accreditation, within our exceptional training facilities.”

Enrolments for individuals, corporate and government groups are available flexibly on enquiry for ADAS Scientific Part 1 and ADAS full Part 1 Qualifications.
