2008 Safety Conference: QHSE Outcomes

25 January 2008

TUCF have identified 61 Corrective Action Recommendations following our    Safety Conference in Broome earlier this month.

The main issues were related to training policies, further development of Management Systems, emergency response procedures, conduct and frequency of safety meetings, and communication and integration.

Upholding the Conference’s theme, “Safety is Everybody’s Responsibility”, TUCF management, crew and support staff in Fremantle and Broome have been diligently addressing the CARs, determined to maintain and improve TUCF’s high safety standards and superior service.

These outcomes from the Masters Meeting and numerous group breakout sessions during the Safety Conference reflect TUCF’s attitude of continual self-improvement.

QHSE Manager, Peter Hill, praised the whole TUCF team for their proud safety culture and exemplary reporting practices.
