The two-day Conference program encompasses workplace wellness; practical
safety management solutions; leadership; creating easy to use health,
safety and environment models. The result says TUCF Managing Director
Ian Milliner, is a well-rounded safety update for attendees.
A host of workshops together with expert addresses will equip attendees
from TUCF and INPEX with the know-how to make their workplace safe.
The conference draws together an impressive list of expert speakers
and industry partners that includes a key note address from major
partner INPEX.
INPEX General Manager of External Affairs, Sean Kildare said, “INPEX’s
number one priority is to manage the health, safety, security, reliability
and efficiency of our operations, and to safeguard our people, assets
and the environment.”
“We have a number of people working in the field, the majority
of who live locally and we work with the TUCF team to ensure that
all our people come home safely.”
“The Ichthys Project has an excellent safety record and we are
very aware that a strong safety performance will directly impact overall
business performance, so it is important that we develop a strong
safety culture to be able to deal with management issues, minimise
risks, lower costs and create value,” Mr Kildare said.
The Ichthys Project is a joint venture operated by INPEX (76%) with
participation from Total E&P Australia (24%), and is expected
to deliver significant economic benefits to the Kimberley region,
Western Australian and Australia.
