The Underwater Centre Fremantle offers supplementary
courses in Dive Medical Technician and Shotfirer. Industry specific
and customized training can also be provided.
An important additional qualification for divers wishing to work in
the offshore environment.
The use of nitrox (or oxygen enriched air) by construction and scientific
divers has increased over the past few years. This short course is
designed to upgrade the knowledge and skills of existing ADAS Part
1, 2 and 3 divers.
This course is structured to assist students sitting for the "WA
Shotfirer’s Permit".
The Chamber Operator course is a stand-alone program for divers or
non-divers. However, it is normally incorporated in the ADAS Part
3 course. The program includes the operation and maintenance of decompression
chambers.
The "Covus Introduction to Offshore Diving" has been designed
as a brief familiarization course, to introduce engineers and other
interested professionals to offshore diving operations.
