•  Duration - Prior completion of First Aid Workbook and 8 hours practical training

•  Location - TUCF, 8 Rous Head Road North Fremantle WA 6159

•  Minimum Number - 6.

•  Maximum Number - 16.

•  Price - $175.00.

•  Deposit - An AUD$50.00 deposit is required 7 days prior to the commencement date     to confirm a position on this course.

•  Inclusions - Price includes all text books, all equipment for the duration of     the course and all certification fees.

 Selection Criteria

Students will be 15 years of age in the year of competency. It is recommended annual CPR (4 hrs) training be undertaken.

This course is designed to be a fully accredited First Aid Course under the AQTF. The competency obtained is HLTFA301C - Apply First Aid.

HLTFA301C - Apply First Aid incoporates the Units of Competency;

•  HLTCPR201B - Perform CPR

•  HLTFA201B - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

 Course Overview

This Unit of Compentency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of other assistance. Traiing and assessment consists of both theoretical and practical components.

•   Introduction to First Aid, Emergency Action Plan, Trauma Management and Medical
     Emergency Management.
