Students will be 15 years of age in the year of competency. It is
recommended annual CPR (4 hrs) training be undertaken.

HLTFA301C - Apply First Aid incoporates the Units of Competency;
• HLTCPR201B - Perform CPR
• HLTFA201B - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
This Unit of Compentency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide First Aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of other assistance. Traiing and assessment consists of both theoretical and practical components.
