The course combines the standards of both the:
• St
Johns Senior First Aid qualification.
• St
Johns Advanced Resuscitation qualification.
The course is designed to fulfil the requirements of AS/NZS2299.1:1999
paragraph 2.5.2, AS2815 paragraph 1.6 (e), and the PSL (Diving
Safety) Regulations 2002.
The course covers the principle and practices of general first
aid. Emphasis is placed on diving related illness and accident
management. EAR, ECC, CPR, oxygen resuscitation and advanced
resuscitation are covered in the course.
