At TUCF our mission is to be an innovative provider of offshore
logistics and marine services.
“We will be the company of choice for offshore logistics and marine
services in Australasia.”
Formed in February 1996, The Underwater Centre Fremantle,
trading as TUCF, initially provided a broad range of underwater training
services with emphasis on occupational diver training. To compliment
our training services, TUCF has also been providing vessels and logistical
support services to various clients of the offshore oil and gas industry.
Over the next five years TUCF will expand its role, into a company
which offers unique offshore logistics and marine service solutions
to global oil and gas exploration companies. We will do this while
also remaining adaptive to the changing nature of marine service markets,
and we will be able to respond to the changing market quickly.
As the company’s operations have already grown considerably, services
are now divided into two main areas:
TUCF offers a full range of occupational diver training. The courses
conducted by TUCF cover all industry sectors, including aquaculture,
scientific and commercial construction diving.
The Underwater Centre Fremantle is accredited under the Commonwealth
Governments "Australian
Diver Accreditation Scheme" (ADAS Number 008) and as a "PADI
5 Star Dive Centre" (PADI Number S8387). TUCF was last audited
by the Commonwealth in May 2005. TUCF is also a member of IMCA.
TUCF provides an integrated package of services that includes the
marketing, management, maintenance and operation of a complete range
of vessels and barges. TUCF provides the Australian and New Zealand
upstream oil & gas industry with a diversified range of vessels to
support all phases of offshore activity.
Through an exclusive agreement with the Senior Partners, Malaysian
based Petra Perdana Berhad Group of Companies; TUCF provides managerial
support to Petra Marine Australia (PMA) operated vessels and barges.
Meeting the demanding needs of remote offshore work in our region,
TUCF supports operations, marketing and charter services for the Petra
vessels in Australia and New Zealand.
Petra owns a fleet of offshore vessels consisting of AHTS, workboats,
work barges, platform supply vessels and fast crew boats. Petra are
building another ten AHTS vessels for delivery between August 2007
